Personalized support for autistic young adults

College Support: Executive Functioning Support and More

College can be a time of self discovery and independence.  Clients are supported in:

  • executive functioning skills (time management, organization, planning)
  • working with office of disability services for accommodations
  • finding a balance with coursework and having social opportunities
  • building in time for passions and interests
  • navigating various offices
  • identifying barriers to success
  • connecting with like-minded peers

We always focus on self-determination!

Young adults have more success and are more independent when they are more self-determined. No matter what kind of work we are doing together (college explorations, college success, pre-employment support, etc.), I use the following components of self-determination as a foundation:

  • choice making
  • decision making
  • problem solving
  • goal setting
  • planning
  • goal attainment
  • self-management
  • self-advocacy
  • self-awareness
  • self-knowledge

My clients are college students and young adults.

Sessions are virtual via video chat or phone.
